After a short trip of… OVER 13 HOURS OF FLIGHT (honestly the longest trip of my life), we arrived in Osaka. Our hotel was very close to Dotonbori Street, which is the one you see in the picture above with Lily, a very lively place with delicious food ~

I loved the city, we spent a few days there but we enjoyed it 100%. One day we went on a trip to Nara, specifically to the Nara Park, where its famous deer are found. There it goes a picture of me befriending one of them lol

In Osaka I visited my first Volks Store and also the Azone one (located in the Kotobukiya building). In the first one I could only take photos in the area available for it. There were 3 dioramas: the forest, the beach and the stage of a concert, and only after choosing one of them I could take the camera out.

Ahhh Kyoto … I would have liked to spend more days here, since this city really fascinated me. It was like taking a trip back in time.

When we went there, the weather was always cloudy and it rained on some occasions. That’s why I left my dolls in the hotel room more than I would have liked but, well, one more reason to come back 😛

Tenshi-no-Sato is the headquarters of Volks, at least talking about SD (Super Dollfie). It is a museum, shop, Japanese garden, tea room, scenic lookout…

I booked entry to be able to take pictures in their gardens because they are beautiful, but when I came in and they saw that I was carrying a DD and not an SD, they didn’t let me to take her out. T,T

Some friends of mine were able to take pictures of their DD in the past, but it’s posible that with the opening of the new Volks Doll Point in Akihabara they want to specialize their products in each of these stores. I also enjoyed the walk, the museum and the store: there I bought a pair of lovely shoes ♥. We spent the rest of the morning in the Bamboo Forest in Arashiyama, in the same area as Tenshi-no-Sato.

Tokyo is huge, really huge!

We stayed there for a week and it seemed like we hadn’t seen almost anything. But guess where we stayed… Aye, in Akihabara! So I did tourist stuff but also of compulsive buyer the 24h.

The Radio Kaikan building (where you can find the Azone Shop and the Volks Doll Point, among others like Amiami) was literally 4 minutes on foot from my hotel, so you can imagine… Well, don’t imagine it, I’ll show you!

Here I bought a Neko Maya from the Meow × Meow collection and felt in love with Miu Sugar Dream (which I bought when I came home as she was sold out everywhere in Tokyo).

The Doll Point in Akihabara has an exhibition area, shop (with exclusive items), the famous “Dream Choice” (where you can take your Dollfie Dream in the moment), a photography area and it’s also a space for events.

Here I met Zodake, also a doll photographer and a DD collector, who is very famous for his amazing pictures of his DD Hatsune Miku. Check his page (link in his name), he’s a very nice guy and a really pro doll photographer! ♡
We took lots of pictures in the Doll Point, I bought several things and there was even a girl who recognized Nebula!!! :O *Shock moment*. She was so nice and owned a super cute MDD. Then she joined the photography team and we add each other in instagram: she’s called maou.a there, by the way! ^_^

Finally we went to Dolk, also close to Radio Kaikan building. In short, a perfect afternoon ~

Well, that’s all about my trip to Japan! This has been without a doubt the best trip I have ever made and I would love to come back. The landscapes, the people, the culture, the food (omg, the food!), the shopping and, above all, living the Dollfie Dream hobby in its origin… amazing.
