Hey there!!! 🎉🎀💕
The Ldoll Festival 2018 was held in Lyon, France, during the past 27th and 28th of October. It was my first time at an international doll event (and it’s also the biggest in Europe!), so please make yourself comfortable and enjoy my review & photos! ~ ✨

😱 I think this video is the perfect summary of yesterday so it deserves to be more than just a ig story 😆 // Now we’re coming back home, can’t wait to show you all the treasures I got! 🛍💕 (Just a little clue: now I’m carrying 3 dolls 🤫🤭) • • #ldollfestival #ldollfestival2018 #orchiddolls #DD #dollfiedream #doll #dollfie #volks #volksdolls #ドルフィードリーム #nebula #minidollfiedream #MDDはいいぞ #dollphotography #poster
Welcome to the Ldoll Festival 2018!
My face was like Neb’s when I arrived there 😆😆
As you may already know, my photo of Nebula was chosen to represent the Ldoll Festival this year. I think you can imagine how I felt after seeing my work in a huge poster 😱 For me it’s been such an honor, and I’m very happy to be able to collaborate with the European doll community ♡
Let’s go! 😮
The room was huge! Right at the entrance were the donations from the sponsors, the Customization Contest dolls, a cloakroom, a food point and a space for cards and postcards.
The one from Dolls of Mine, included a mini-accreditation for dolls with the event photo as a gift -you can see it in both Neb and Glitch pics-, such a nice detail, thank you very much! 💓
Then there was a rest area with tables and chairs, and also the photos from the Doll Photography Contest, in which I participated, of course! My pic got the second place and I won an adorable PlaPico Dragon by Aileen Doll Europe, many many thanks!!! 😍😍💜💜
I noticed that they didn’t give a ‘Welcome pack’, which are already a staple (and sometimes controversial) in Spanish events such as Dolly Day or Dolly Festival.
As for stands, there were many and very varied. Most were focused on BJD and art dolls, but there was also room for Monster High, Pullip, DD, etc., and for all kinds of craftsmanship. It was a joy to see so much variety and so much talent together 💜
In fact, I went back home with one more doll 😏😏😏 I really want to show it but…
purchases in the next post! 🛍️💕

So that’s all about the Ldoll Festival 2018! ✨
In the end, the best things I take home (apart from the purchases, which I’ll show you in the next post ♥) are: the time spent with hobby friends, the new and wonderful people I meet and the good vibes from these events. Oh, and thanks to everyone who said “Hi” and chatted with me for a while ≧◡≦ 💙
To sump up, I totally recommend it for any doll lover. Also, for me it’s been an honor to contribute a little bit with the picture for the Ldoll Festival 2018 banner, it was definitely a very happy day for me ☺
See you soon in the next post: Ldoll Festival loot! 🛍️
